anisha yadavAnisha Yadav is currently working as a Financial Risk Consultant at KPMG, Bangalore. She interned with us at Hedge School of Applied Economics during the summer of 2015 in between her PGDM at T A Pai Management Institute, Manipal. Here she gives a brief insight into her experience with us.

“My Summer Internship for two months during April-May of 2015 at Hedge was one of the most memorable experiences of my MBA stint. The focus of the Hedge faculty and working professionals there on teaching and helping the interns dwell more into the nuances of finance and its related fields is simply amazing and was very helpful for business graduates like me. The hands on teaching and training they provide have been very insightful and helped me learn a lot about various aspects of trading, equity research and valuations.

Special thanks and mention to Benil Sir, for his constant support and guidance through my internship. He has been an amazing mentor to me and continues to remain one.

All in all, my Hedge experience has really been wonderful and will always remain memorable for me, as I made many wonderful friends and built some great memories with them.

Thanks to the Hedge family!”

He is currently working at eClerx Services Ltd,Pune. His fascination with the world of finance lead him to enroll for the CFA program. He just completed his second level CFA exams. About his experience at Hedge, he recollects,

I had an amazing experience at a point in time which proved to be a turning point for me. I got an opportunity to do internship with Hedge Equities Ltd. Those two months had been a period of intense learning. We were exposed to practical scenarios. We didn’t only gain professional knowledge but we were also groomed on personal investments. Lots of misconceptions were cleared. For the first time, I could view investments from the point of social benefit rather than only personal benefit.Ever since I started earning I have started started investing in Systematic Investment Plans (SIP) as well as bought term insurance plan.Apart from this I also put my money in IPOs and individual stocks with more investments in the pharma and automobile sector.”
