After completing her MBA from Xaviers Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Bangalore Thasni Sharaf has been working with UST Global Trivandrum with their Business Finance team. “ Finance was not exactly my cup of tea, but now I am trying to develop an inclination towards it”, Thasni admitted to me frankly. Talking about her internship experience, she says that it was a good one and she loved equity research. One thing that caught her attention was the quality of MBAs here in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. “I remember many other interns from such a college struggling to draft a letter for their leave to the HR during our internship. Even though they get their MBA, they may not be industry ready. There has to be some sort of soft skill classes for them. I think it will equip them for the job market.
I would love to get involved with Hedge School in various capacities to develop personality development programs”, she told me even before I asked her how she can get involved with us. Keen in developing the modules for soft skills she has agreed to make a trip to Kochi to meet with us. She is even interested to partner with us as Guest Faculty for our various programs.
